Dr. Gabor Papp, Founder of West Side Hungarian School of Cleveland

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of loving husband, father and grandfather, and anchor of the Hungarian community of Cleveland, Dr. Gabor Papp at Beachwood Pointe Care Center on February 8, 2011, just shy of his 96th birthday.

Devoted husband of sixty-four years to Katalin Papp (nee Hokky). He will be terribly missed by his four daughters: Eva (Hedrick), Dr. Klara Papp, Gabrielle (Fleischer), Susan Papp-Aykler and by his devoted grandchildren: Christian Hedrick and wife Katie, Dr. Elizabeth (Wehner) and husband Joshua, Krisztina Walter, Anna Walter and Michael Walter, Andrea (Redel) and husband Nicholas, Mark Fleischer and Lauren Fleischer.
