Elizabeth Szabolcs, 100, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 following a short illness. Elizabeth “Orzse” joins her beloved husband, Laszlo.
She was born September 26, 1915 in Hungary to the late Ferenc and Elizabeth Beke.
Loving mother of Laszlo (Teresa) and Levente (Judith). Cherished grandmother of Andrea (deceased), Christina “Kiko” (deceased), Monika, Nicholas, Christopher (Amanda) and Katherine.
She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews of the Matavovszky, Domotorfy and Revy Families. As well as many loving people in Hungary including the Pogany Family. She was preceded in death by her friend, Oszkar Radanyi.
Memorial Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Emeric Catholic Church, 1860 W. 22nd. St. Cleveland, OH 44113.
Family members can join the inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hungarian Association, the American Hungarian Friends of Scouting or Hungarian School Care Club (Magyar Iskola).

Én, Gizella, Marcsika (Matavovszky) növére vagyok, Sandra a lányom. Németországban élünk. Néhány évvel ezelött én is voltam látogatóban Clevelandban, amikor megismerhettem Örzse nénit. Nagy szeretettel és örömmel gondolok rá és emlékezem többszöri kedves és kellemes találkozásunkra, az együtt eltöltött órákra. Boldog vagyok, hogy megismerhettem öt.
Együttérzésünket fejezzük ki az egész gyászoló család felé.
