Larry grew up in Cortland, NY and came to Cleveland, OH to be near his father who had moved here first. Larry was a man of many talents. He was the epitome of entrepreneurship. He had run a successful landscaping business in his earlier years as well as a home improvement company. He was the ultimate “flipper” knowing how to spot items at flea markets that were valuable and flipping/selling them for a substantial profit. He was well known at all the local flea markets and had countless customers who turned into lifelong friends.

Larry was also creative and artistic; he drew up blueprints and had worked as a draftsman. He was athletic having played football in school and was an avid snow skier for many years. He served as the director of a YMCA in New York. He was a lifeguard. Rode horses and motorcycles. He was a hunter and a fisherman. Larry had experience in the hospitality industry, too, when he worked at Disney World in FL for seven years. Larry was musical as well; he was a drummer in various local rock bands and had seen practically every classical rock group in concert there ever was. He met all the original members of the rock band KISS and his favorite band of all were the Ramones.

Larry always put others first and could be counted on to help someone in need. He was generous and thoughtful. He lived humbly and was frugal. He was loyal, strong and friendly like a bulldog. That was my nickname for Larry – Bulldog. He left us too soon. He will be sorely missed by many.

“See You on the Other Side”
Love you, miss you my friend.
Bella
