Sandor “Shawn” O’Reilly age 44 passed away August 25, 2015 at The Cleveland Clinic.

He was the beloved husband of Krisztina (nee Nemeth); son of Patricia and the late Richard; brother of Misty (Tim) and Meagan (Robert); son-in-law of Klara and the late Lajos Nemeth; brother-in-law of Annamaria (Geza); nephew, uncle, cousin, God parent and friend.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 1PM Monday, August 31, 2015 at St. Emeric Catholic Church 1860 W. 22nd St. Cleveland (east end of Bridge Ave.)

The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday at Bodnar-Mahoney Funeral Home 3929 Lorain Ave. Cleveland.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark, Ohio.

We are sorry it took so many years and my husband’s then Chip’s cancer to hook up again AND NOW you are gone as well.
We don’t understand things sometimes but maybe we’re not supposed to. What we do understand is the holes in iur hearts

I never had the pleasure of meeting Sandor in person becuase we work in two different cities on the same account. However, through email he was always delightful and funny. He made a positive impact on our day-to-day. Sandor was such a wonderful Kind spirit. I am saddened to hear of his passing and he is missed. Prayers of support to his entire family and friends.

So sad when heard the passing of Sandor. Thank the Lord I had a chance to work with him in the Cleveland office and enjoyed an Indians game with him and friends. He is truly and will always have a special place in my heart because of his kindness and humor. I pray the family and other friends hold the memories deep and pray it gets them thru the sadness of missing him. Sandor, til we meet again.

I was so sadden when I heard that Sandor passed away. While we only worked together over the phone and email, I could always feel his warmth and kind heart. there is something very wrong when the best person on the planet is gone far too soon. The saying is that he is in a better place but if you asked him, he would probably disagree. He loved life so much and touched every person he knew and we are all better people because we knew him.

Sandor was terrific… I only worked with him on the phone, but I knew that he was always smiling and he would make me smile and feel good. Nothing was impossible for Sandor….. A great guy! My thougths are prayers are with his family and friends.

Sandor was a joy to work with .I was a colleague of his at BCD Travel. I only knew him for a few years , but he was always there for me to answer my questions or help me thru the meetings process. He was a true gentleman , polite and always willing to lend a hand when needed. He will be sorely missed, he left us way to soon . RIP my friend . My deepest sympathy to the family .

I was so lucky and happy to see Shawn, for the first time in many years, back in June. We had several great conversations during my stay in Cleveland, and I will forever be grateful to have spent that time with him.
I’m so sorry that he’s gone, it’s hard to believe after seeing him so happy and healthy only two months ago.
My condolences to Krisztina, Misty, Megan, Aunt Pat, and all of my other relatives, and to everyone else who was lucky enough to have known Shawn.
Shawn, I love you, and will miss you a lot.

Sandor was a true professional and a genuinely nice person. Of his many endearing attributes the one that I will miss the most is his cheerful disposition that was consistently conveyed through daily work emails. He brightened my day, and heaven is brighter now that he is there.

I worked with Sandor for many years at BCD. I am happy for the years we worked together in the office, before many went “virtual” and worked from home. Sandor was great at his job and also very fun to work with!! He called all the ladies “Gorgeous”! Coming from such a sweet guy it always made us smile! I was saddened that he had taken ill and just could not get better. He was so full of lifeI! I will remember him always! We LOVE you Sandor!!

Oh dear, dear Sandor! You called me ‘friend’ and made me feel good! I cannot wrap my head around to accept that you are gone. I still see you in my mind’s eye as clear as day!

We did try to hold you back in our prayers because we could not let you go! Now, you have left behind countless sad hearts though grateful to have had you in our lives even for such a short a time!

I thank you for sharing moments in your very short life which I will always cherish. Remembering you always my friend, worker and a warm, affectionate human-being!
